The Valley Music Festival – Performers in lock down is an incredible event online being released via YouTube at 2pm on Saturday 13th July. Hosted by Shaun Doane from the Everly Pregnant Brothers. It includes an amazing list of performances including some from your very own Stannington Choir and No Identity (NoID)
The Virtual Valley Festival is in the final stages of editing. With nearly 3 hours of amazing performances from people who would have been taking part next week. The focus is on performing in lockdown. There are many polished performances from talented young people. All hosted by Shaun Doane.
We have music for everyone from the classical singers who would have been performing at Ponti’s. The award winners from last year, Deepcar St John CE Primary, local groups and musicians and dance.
We will be premiering a new composition by Harry Chapman especially written for the virtual festival. Amazing colourful performances from Sangeet. Local choirs including Waldershelf Bolsterstone and Stannington.
It is amazing – so many creative folks out there please try and link up with us next week and give on our Just Giving page to support more young musicians next year.
Don’t let Lockdown stifle our amazing musical tradition and the development of the musicians and performers for the future.
