About The Choir

Stannington Mixed Choir is a very friendly community based group located in west Sheffield (The parish of Bradfield). We are welcoming group of men and women who enjoy singing and performing together. We sing a wide variety of music styles from modern pop to musicals, classics and coral requiems. Our repertoire and videos section on this website will show you in more detail the music that we have performed in the past.

We usually perform at least 3 major concerts a year, some times with multiple performances. In addition to this we also perform at as many other events as we can such as the “Fox Valley Festival” and “Jack Goodison Concert” as well as supporting many charity and Christmas venues. Performing is a focus for the choir allowing us to aim for something special and we all support each other as we learn and grow in abilities towards each concert. It also gives us a sincere sense of achievement unlike anyother you will experience – just ask any of our choir members.
